If You See Ink Streaks...
Clean the print cartridges and the print cartridge cradle by
following the instructions below.

Open the
HP DeskJet Toolbox
. See page 8 for instructions on
how to find it.

Click
Clean the Print Cartridges
and follow the on-screen
directions. If this does not prevent streaks, follow the
instructions for “Manually Cleaning the Print Cartridges” on
the next page.
Be careful not to get ink on your hands or clothing.
Note:
Unnecessary cleaning wastes ink and shortens the life of the
print cartridge.
